job summary
this position will report to the brand/category marketing manager and will help to support the delivery of the financial goals and marketing objectives of the category. the brand/category roles will be responsible in building the overall deltahealth brand and focuses in engaging its target audience; ultimately, facilitating the increase of our patient volume. the candidate will need to work closely with cross-functional teams, key internal stakeholders, as well as external partners. strategical thinking, good organizational/coordination skills, strong logic/analytical abilities, and a can-do attitude is critical to the success of this position. previous experience in healthcare/consumer/brand marketing is preferred. a well understanding of the healthcare/otc industry is a plus.
essential management duties & responsibilities
support brand/category manager in the development of category business/brand plan (short/mid/long term goals), strategies, and key activities while following overall brand direction and objectives
understand key stakeholder needs/insights (including kols, doctors, patients, family members, etc.) and translate into initiatives that help to achieve brand and category objectives (including but not limited to communications/pr, digital, activation/events, research)
support planning, management, and execution of such initiatives as well as post analysis and follow-up action plan/proposals (including but not limited to key learning/implications, roi, overall effectiveness and efficiency)
work closely with cross functional teams, specifically market development, professional/digital marketing, and sales/medical teams to lead, coordinate, and support initiatives that help to achieve brand/category objectives
work with internal teams as well as external agencies to develop relevant and engaging content that will help achieve brand and category objectives
ad-hoc support on all other key company initiatives
qualifications
education & experience
at least 2+ years of work experience in multi-national / large corporations, area of specialization: brand/consumer marketing
a bachelor’s degree in related discipline or in sciences
experience in otc or healthcare related sector will be a plus
job knowledge, skills or abilities (demonstrate skill in administration, management and team working)
good strategical thinking capabilities
strong logic and analytical abilities
good coordination and organizational skills
good communications skills in both english and chinese mandarin (spoken and written)
a team player and able to work effectively in cross functional environments
self-driven, motivated and able to work under pressure effectively
high enthusiasm, results oriented, creative, and desire to work on an innovative team
skilled with power point, excel
