JOB SUMMARY / ACCOUNTABILITY:
Carry out business development activities and be responsible for the planning and coordination of production and shipment of customer orders so as to achieve customer satisfaction and meet business objectives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Identify customer requirements and prepare tailored market information and relevant costing analysis so that the number of sales orders can be maximized.
2. Plan and assign customer orders to appropriate factories for production so that effective and efficient production can be achieved.
3. Liaise with vendors and customers, deal with them during their visits, travel to overseas for market trip, order follow-up, factory visit and so on to ensure effective and efficient communication in fulfilling orders.
4. Evaluate fabric/trims/product samples and seek appropriate approvals from supervisor and the customer so as to ensure the sample specifications meeting customer requirements.
5. Plan and direct the monitoring of production so that finished products are up to the desired quality and customer requirements.
6. Coordinate QC departments for inspection arrangement so as to ensure products are up to the required quality standard.
7. Coordinate with Shipping departments for shipment arrangement so that shipments can be effected promptly.
8. Closely follow up with the compliance issues to ensure customers' compliance requirements are met.
9. Supervise, coach
