Purpose of the Role
This role is focused on developing compelling visual merchandising strategies and creating detailed planograms to enhance the presentation of our products across our global retail network. He / She should possess a unique blend of creativity and data analytical skills, with a proven track record in designing effective retail layouts and displays that not only drive sales but also enhance the overall customer experience.
Key Job Responsibilities
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Planogram Development: Design and implement detailed planograms that optimize product placement, visual appeal, and retail space utilization, aligning with our global merchandising standards.
- Visual Merchandising Strategy: Develop innovative visual merchandising strategies that attract and engage customers and ensure a cohesive brand presentation across all retail locations.
- Collaboration and Training: Work closely with store teams in the markets and regional merchandisers to roll out planograms and visual merchandising guidelines. Provide training and support to ensure consistent implementation.
- Market Trends Analysis: Stay abreast of the latest visual merchandising and retail design trends. Incorporate innovative ideas and best practices into planogram development.
- Performance Analysis: Utilize sales data and customer feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of visual merchandising strategies and make data-driven adjustments.
- Cross-functional coordination: Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure visual merchandising aligns with marketing campaigns, product launches, and overall brand image and strategy.
- Compliance and Adaptation: Ensure visual merchandising complies with local regulations, security, and cultural norms, adapting strategies to cater to diverse markets.

Requirements
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in visual Merchandising, Design, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser, particularly with planogram development and implementation expertise.
SPECIFIC BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE:
- Strong creative skills with an eye for aesthetics and visual details
- Ability to analyse sales data and customer insights to inform visual merchandising decisions
- Familiarity with visual merchandising software and expertise in Excel
- Flexibility to travel as required for store visits and team collaboration
