About the Role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Quality Supervisor to join our Thermal Solution team in Suzhou. At the Suzhou site, we manufacture and supply high-quality Thermal Solutions products to our customers across the APAC region. As part of the site leadership and technical team, the successful candidate will own end-to-end Quality for the site, collaborating with our commercial partners to ensure that we offer products and services that surpass customers’ expectations for high-quality offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership across the Suzhou site to drive a positive and innovative Quality culture
Partner with site Operations and Technical teams to exceed quality metrics
Timely resolution of customer-related issues to minimise any effect on customer satisfaction and revenue targets
Effective communication with customers and commercial partners02
Lead resolution of internal and external supplier quality-related issues
Drive operational excellence, reduce waste, and develop a continuous improvement culture
Utilize Lean-Sigma principled, statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques to eliminate product/process wastes
Partner with Technology and Commercial teams for successful delivery of NPI programs and localisation projects
Develop the site Quality Management System to align with Honeywell IA Global strategy
Ensure the site consistently complies with Product and ISO Quality requirements set by customers and industry standards.
Create appropriate MOS for tracking Quality metrics and representing performance data
Define, implement, and validate process controls for avoiding defective product escapes
Qualifications and Experience
Over 3 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or Supply Chain/Operations Management
Ability to influence and lead across a cross-functional organization
Lean Experience and/or Green Belt certified
Practical knowledge of ISO9001:2015 and other Quality and Industry standards
Experience in leading site audits and engaging with industry and regulatory bodies
Track record of achieving results in challenging assignments
Excellent business acumen and history of achievement against stretch goals
In-depth knowledge of Quality Improvement Tools and Techniques—Six Sigma, SPC, 5Why’s, FMEA
