Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a diploma in Purchasing Management will be considered. Preferred: MBA or postgraduate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
2. Professional registration preferred.
3. Experience with supply chain systems and process development is a strong advantage.
4. Minimum 10 years in senior supply chain management, with hands-on exposure to procurement, contracts, and materials/logistics.
5. Proven background in strategic category management, ideally within engineering, operations, or industrial environments.
6. Demonstrated success in cross-functional teams within complex, project-driven organizations.
7. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build long-term partnerships, lead change, and drive strategic outcomes.
8. LTA for 3-5 years, position for level 9, demonstrates fluency in both written and spoken English, placement in Wisma Indah Kiat Indonesia
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the development of strategic business objectives and drive supply/category management to grow a high-performing commercial services team.
2. Model and cascade core values and behaviors through managers to foster a cohesive, values-driven culture.
3. Manage performance by setting clear expectations, conducting reviews, resolving issues constructively, and nurturing stakeholder relationships.
4. Lead evaluation and optimization of MRO/spare parts categories to reduce TCO
5. Develop product testing and value analysis protocols to enhance cost-efficiency and revenue opportunities
6. Create fit-for-purpose specifications and support standardization across business units
7. Establish profit-enhancing models such as TCO benchmarks and performance indicators
8. Influence operational decision-making on category selection and implementation
9. Monitor compliance with sustainability and usage protocols
10. Conduct supplier assessments and approve based on technical, QA, and performance benchmarks
11. Drive supplier onboarding and integration with evaluation processes
12. Lead cost-reduction initiatives through contract negotiations and strategic partnerships
13. Align internal stakeholder and supplier processes to support procurement goals
14. Explore new technologies and market developments to identify value opportunities
15. Develop supplier performance metrics and manage category change initiatives
16. Build and maintain effective stakeholder and supplier relationships
17. Participate in strategic forums to share category intelligence across divisions
18. Support organization-wide leverage initiatives and best practice exchange
19. Facilitate collaboration among business units to optimize strategic sourcing
20. Share supplier market insights across functional boundaries
